Forklifts used and new: come see them before deciding

DAMAC forklifts are available at our Rome location: we recommend you come see them in person before purchasing.
You don’t buy a forklift just by looking at photos: you need to see it running, test the controls, check the condition of the forks and tires,
verify there are no oil leaks, test the lifting system. The hours on the meter are important, but they don’t tell everything:
a forklift can have few hours and have been poorly maintained, or have many hours but still be in excellent condition.
That’s why we prefer you come see it, try it, and then decide calmly. If you’re far away and can’t come,
we arrange detailed video calls or send you specific videos and photos of what you want to check.

The choice of fuel type depends on where you work, how many hours a day you use it, and what type of environment you have.

Diesel forklifts

Ideal for outdoor use and heavy work, they offer power and operational continuity
even on irregular surfaces or in construction site environments. They consume more but have no downtime for recharging.

Electric forklifts

Silent and with zero local emissions, they are the perfect solution for indoor environments,
warehouses and internal logistics where precision and maneuverability are needed. They require overnight charging and a second battery if you work in shifts.

LPG forklifts

A good compromise between power and flexibility,
suitable both for well-ventilated indoor environments and outdoor use. Operating costs intermediate between diesel and electric.

DAMAC selects forklifts from internationally recognized brands
such as Linde, Toyota, Still, Jungheinrich,
Komatsu and Caterpillar. These brands guarantee construction quality,
reliability over time and, most importantly, parts availability. If something breaks, parts are easily found
and service centers know these machines well.

Checks we do before proposing a forklift

All forklifts we propose are inspected first. We verify:
condition of forks and chains, operation of the lifting system, hydraulic system integrity (no leaks),
battery condition (for electric) or engine (for diesel/LPG), tires and general condition of the cab.
Each vehicle comes with complete documentation with working hours, service history and available certifications.

Come to Rome to see the equipment: it’s the best way to choose

Our headquarters is in Rome and forklifts can be viewed by appointment.
Seeing the vehicle in person allows you to personally assess the general condition, test the controls,
hear how the engine runs (or how it lifts if electric), check that there are no hidden problems.
Many customers come, try two or three different forklifts, and then choose the one that convinces them most.
If you can’t come in person, we arrange detailed video calls where we show you everything you want to see.

The process is simple: you contact us, we set an appointment, you come see the available equipment.
If you find what you need, we define price and conditions, arrange documents and transport.
We provide complete support for shipping throughout Italy and abroad,

Is it better to buy a used or new forklift?

It depends on budget and use. Well-maintained used equipment can give you excellent value for money,
especially if you use it a few hours a day. New has warranty and zero surprises, but costs much more.

Can I test the forklift before buying it?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, we recommend it. Come by appointment to our Rome location,
we’ll start it up, you try it, verify controls and lifting. Seeing and trying it in person
gives you much more confidence than buying just by looking at photos online.

Do you also handle forklift transport?

Yes, we arrange transport throughout Italy and abroad. We give you costs and delivery times
based on your area. If you’re near Rome, sometimes it’s more convenient to come pick it up directly with your own vehicle.
